As I said (actually wrote) in my previous article, this year 2012 was real good for me in blogging, in terms of blogging, improving myself, my writing, winning contests, earning money and a few more. I started lots of different things in this year of blogging and during this year I met some awesome bloggers who somehow helped me or appreciated me for whatever I was doing in blogging.

Well, I met LOTS of blogger if we talk about JUST adding them on Facebook. But also, I made some very good blogger friends. I had a good connection with them, we used to chat  many times (regularly with some of them). We used to help each other a lot (well, they helped me all the time, I don’t know if I helped them) in anything we can.

Some of them met me recently, a few months ago but I think we are having a good connection online.

Please note I am not numbering them as my favorite blogger or something like that, I like all of them, all are my favorite. With this numbering, I have just tried to maintain the order in which I met all of them. So, here we go…

1) Jane Sheeba

I knew Jane from a long. Everybody knows she is few of the awesome lady bloggers out there in the blogosphere. She did host a blogging contest in the beginning of 2012 on her blog ProBloggingSuccess.com. I saw her update and then I participated in the contest. I used to send her emails all the time, and she was very kind and helpful to me. She helped me understand everything I needed to ask about contest, I was new to the whole thing.

A very helpful friend and a blogging expert.

Here is a guest posts of Jane Sheeba on OddBlogger.com: Blogging from home to make money

2) Holly Jahangiri

I met Holly when I was promoting my contest entry from Jane’s contest and I didn’t knew Holly will help me till the end of the contest. She helped me understanding all the tactics of blogging contests and blogging strategies.

Holly Jahangiri is a professional writer (and I love that thing about her). She is a very nice blogger as well, lady with a different perspective, and her blog is It’s All a Matter of Perspective. Ready to help always. And my great support.

Here is Holly’s guest post on my blog (most commented and my favorite post on my blog): Writing Tips At a Glance

3) Hajra Khatoon

A very good friend, blogger and an awesome competitor. Yes, we were competitor before we made friends, in Jane’s PBS contest. She blogs on Hajra.me and write about life, humor and many things. And she is the one and only blogger who met me in real and we had a cold drink together.

Hajra has also written a very motivating post on my blog (and it has the most searched keyword on my blog – LAZY): Keep your blog Busy, When you are Lazy

4) Francisco Perez

Also known as DiTesco, blogs on iBlogZone.com which is one of the very helpful blogs for bloggers out there to know and learn about WordPress, Security, Plugins and stuff.

Holly sent me to DiTesco when I had to choose hosting and was very confused and scared about doing all that stuff the very first time. Just two emails from DiTesco solved most of my problems.

Unfortunately, no guest post from DiTesco!

5) Ileane Smith

Who doesn’t know Ms. Ileane Smith, huh? The founder of one of the best blogs for blogging and WordPress tips, BasicBlogTips.com. She also make videos on YouTube and record podcast. Favorite blogger of most of the bloggers out there. A very kind and helpful person, loves to share what she knows. Motivates and support all other bloggers.

She hasn’t done any guest post on OddBlogger but I have done one on her blog: 10 Reasons I Will Not Visit Your Blog Again!

6) Melissa Agnes

Melissa Agnes is a Social Media Crisis Consultant and Speaker blog in MelissaAgnes.com. I met her when I was promoting my first contest entry. And since then, she has been a great support to me in all my contests.

Here’s one guest post from Melissa Agnes on OddBlogger: 10 Ways To Win Loyal Fans Through Blogging

7) Brian Belfitt

The man behind great blogging community – Blog Engage. This person has a big impact on my blogging life. Why wouldn’t I like a person who was sending me money the whole year (LOL, kidding)? He gave me an account in his community and told me about the contests he was about to host the whole year and I participated in 4 blogging contests in the community and along with the prize money I earned so much reputation.

Brian hasn’t got any guest post on my site because he is a real busy man. But here’s my, kind of, summary of all the contests I participated in Blog Engage: My Contest Winning Story & the final contest with prize money – $1000

8) Jason Mathes

Jason and I didn’t make friend in the beginning of the year but in middle, but he is an awesome guy, gamer, tech blogger. Blogs on avgjoegeek.com. He writes about Technology, Games and Blogging on his blog.

The last post on OddBlogger was written by Jason and here it is: 2 Alternatives to Amazon Affiliates that Actually Work

9) Raaj Trambadia

A recent friend, but a fun loving guy and a very good blogger. His blog is MyBlogIsMyMoney.com but these days he is rocking with his new blog PluginsWP.net. He gives away a lot of plugins and share his reviews on different plugin which might be really helpful for all those who have a WordPress blog.

Raaj Trambadia’s guest post on OddBlogger: 3 Characteristics Of A Lousy Guest Blogger

10) Saad Naeem

The all rounder guy Saad is also a recent friend of mine and has a very nice blog, SeoAllRounder.com and also he is a very nice and helpful person.  He writes about Blogging and SEO, Affiliate and Internet Marketing. I hope Saad writes a post on my blog soon.

I would like to thank all of you guys for being a part of my blogging journey and helping or supporting me every time I needed. I hope we will continue our great connection in the upcoming years as well.

Now, it’s time for my readers and fellow to add, know or make connection with all the bloggers I mentioned above. And I would suggest you to write YOUR favorite bloggers you met in 2012 on your blog.

Of course, I consider myself as an AWESOME BLOGGER as well but I didn’t want to put my name in MY list. Hope you agree with me here. 🙂

There are still so many bloggers I think are amazing, but I hope you don’t mind if I forgot to include your name. No doubt, you are awesome, too.

I wish all my friends, audience and fellow bloggers Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Take your time buddy. But I would love to put a piece from you on my blog.

  • Holly Jahangiri, December 29, 2012 @ 1:30 am Reply

Hey, I know all these bloggers! (Some better than others, but it’s one of the first lists of “awesome bloggers” that read like a real list of friends and not a “who’s who in the blogosphere” that I’ve seen in a long, long time.) Thank you for including me here, Abhi. You’re an awesome blogger, yourself!

    • Abhi, December 29, 2012 @ 1:46 am Reply

      Hi Holly,

Good to see you here on my blog.

I agree with what you said there.

I included those bloggers who were awesome for me.

And this list wouldn’t even start without you! 🙂

      • Hajra, January 13, 2013 @ 12:57 am Reply

Did you know that Holly and I met through a contest too?

        • Holly Jahangiri, January 13, 2013 @ 7:35 am Reply

Yes, I called Hajra part of my prize package. 😉

          • Hajra, January 13, 2013 @ 11:17 am

You just made my day so much more better!

        • Abhi, January 13, 2013 @ 12:17 pm Reply

Yep! She told me about it when she just started helping me in the contest.

Holly, you made a lovely reply there. 😀

  • Raaj Trambadia, December 29, 2012 @ 1:33 am Reply

Great list out here Abhi. Good to see my name here. Try putting up some pictures 🙂

    • Abhi, December 29, 2012 @ 1:41 am Reply

      Hey Raaj,

I was thinking to put up the pictures. But I didn’t want to delay this article anymore.

Well, I wanted to publish it before 2013. LOL!

  • Lisa, December 29, 2012 @ 2:50 am Reply

Great list Abhi, I know most of them from Blog Engage, a wonderful group indeed. I’ll have to visit the few I don’t know yet. Thanks for sharing them. I haven’t been getting there as often as I’d like to Blog Engage but did this a.m. after a week. (Yikes!) Have a great 2013 Abhi.(And you should be on the list too!)

    • Abhi, December 29, 2012 @ 4:52 pm Reply

      Hi Lisa,

Thanks a lot for stopping by and commenting.

It’s good that you met few bloggers here you didn’t know before.

I wish I could add my name there as well. Hehe..

      Keep visiting.

  • Jane, December 29, 2012 @ 11:26 am Reply

Wonderful list Abhi. I’m so honored to be included. And I know all of them in the list. Ileane is a consistent blogging pal of mine and is very helpful! Raaj – love this fun-loving guy 🙂

Hats off to you Abhi for remembering everyone 🙂

    • Abhi, December 29, 2012 @ 8:25 pm Reply

      Hi Jane,

Thanks for showing up! The honor is completely mine to have such awesome bloggers in my friends list, actually, having myself in their friends list.

And how can I forget someone who someday helped or supported me.

Thanks all lot for everything, Jane!

  • Ileane, December 29, 2012 @ 2:10 pm Reply

Hi Abhi! You are such an amazing person!
But I need to set the record straight about something. I knew you before you met Holly because I remember when she first told me about you I said – I know Abhi already!

If you think back to way before I made the video showing how to promote the contest posts in CommentLuv….

    Anywho….
What you have achieved this year is nothing short of a miracle and feel like you will do even more in 2013!

    • Abhi, December 29, 2012 @ 8:28 pm Reply

      Hi Ileane,

      Thank you!

Yeah, I remember very well that. You wrote that in a reply to Holly’s comment that you know me already. I was visiting your blog but never knew that you also had an eye on me and I was in your notice. Glad to hear that. 😀

Thanks a lot for your appreciation, your good wishes and all time support. Really means a lot to me.

    • Holly Jahangiri, December 29, 2012 @ 9:17 pm Reply

Yes, Ileane, and he knew who you were – but as I recall, he was a little intimidated to approach such a great and famous blogger as yourself. The way I remember it, I dragged him over there and said, “TALK TO HER!!” LOL (And to think – I’m usually the “intimidating” one!)

      • Abhi, December 29, 2012 @ 10:21 pm Reply

Exactly! Well, not exactly intimidated but a bit hesitated. And thank you for your push at that time. I got to know a lot of new bloggers. Neither of you are intimidating, by the way. 🙂

And Holly, I LOVE you blog’s new looks. Especially, the tag line and the way the blog title is written.
        B-E-A-utiful!

        • Holly Jahangiri, December 29, 2012 @ 11:02 pm Reply

Thank you so much! Credit for the new look must be shared with the author of the BOLD theme (Elegant Themes) – that theme being about the only reason I didn’t request a refund after the first 6-10 disappointing forays in to the 79 available over there. That’s not entirely their fault, mind you – I like unusual themes that are easy to customize, and you can imagine the problems in finding one that fits BOTH criteria! 😉 I really liked DailyNotes, but could not get any CSS font changes to work, and it was very cramped and unreadable out of the box. There’s something in there called “cufon” that I don’t understand – felt better after seeing others thank other theme developers for getting rid of it! But anyway… this one worked straight out of the box, and was easy to personalize. Worth what I paid for the whole membership, I think!

          • Abhi, December 29, 2012 @ 11:09 pm

I am glad you found your kinda theme. And it’s really good looking.

I am also a fan of unusual themes and especially those which I can customize according to my style.

          • Ileane, December 30, 2012 @ 3:16 am

I love the new look too Holly. Congrats!

          • Holly Jahangiri, December 30, 2012 @ 4:00 am

Ileane! You visited, but didn’t say hello??

  • DiTesco, December 29, 2012 @ 2:54 pm Reply

Hi Abhi. Thank you so much for the mention and I am glad I bumped into you this year. Sorry for the guest post.. If you still want it, I will make in a point to write next year 🙂 Thanks again and here’s to a wonderful and successful 2013

    • Abhi, December 29, 2012 @ 8:31 pm Reply

      Hello DiTesco,

Why wouldn’t I want a guest post from DiTesco? 😀

Anyways, I can understand you are a busy person. Take your time, and I would be glad to publish yours.

Good wishes to you as well. And thank you for the blogging support.

  • Allie, December 29, 2012 @ 9:38 pm Reply

    Abhi,
Great list. isn’t it funny the way you meet people? Who would have thought people you were in a contest with would become friends and supporters?

    ~Allie

    • Abhi, December 29, 2012 @ 10:14 pm Reply

      Very right, Allie!

Hajra, Holly and me have been competitors many times but, I think, we are the best supporters of each other of all time, even when we are in same contest. 🙂

This is really great, and strange too, for others. 😀

      I appreciate your visit.

      • Holly Jahangiri, December 29, 2012 @ 11:05 pm Reply

The strangeness to others is part of the fun. 🙂

Hi, Allie! (Allie’s a bit strange, too. That’s how WE met – and Melanie, who hasn’t been around as much. I miss you both!)

People DON’T get it, Abhi. Remember when I told you someone demanded I leave some of my “freakin’ comments” on their post? 🙂 LOL Nope, they just don’t get it at all. But that’s okay – it’s like a secret handshake for people who do, and maybe a sign that they’re meant to be friends.

  • Ehsan Ullah, December 31, 2012 @ 1:15 am Reply

Nice list Abhi, All of them are experience bloggers and I’m sure will be shining in the coming year.

Thanks for the mention and the help Abhi I too wish you nothing but success for the new year in 2013! (Just not in Winning any more of those Guest Blog Contests – those are going to be ALL MINE Muahahahahaha!)

And for the record? I really hate auto-filled in forms sometimes 🙂

        • Abhi, January 3, 2013 @ 10:37 pm Reply

Okay! I am giving you those $1000 as a new year gift. LOL! How’s that? You know why I am doing this because I know I am not gonna make it this time. hehee…

          😀

Hi Abhi thanks for adding me, I didn’t actually know you did guest blogging here. But you are right I’ve been so slammed with the amazing success of Blog Engage I haven’t had time for much of anything. Its great how things always work out when you work hard and keep your head up. It was fun watching you in all our contest and watching you win all that cash 🙂

    • Abhi, January 8, 2013 @ 11:01 pm Reply

      Hi Brian,

Good to see you. LOL! It is kind of guest blogging.

Thanks a lot for the appreciation. I really enjoyed Blog Engage community last year. I think, Blog Engage was the third most visited site for me after gmail and Facebook, in 2012.

      Thanks for everything.

  • Karen Woodham, January 15, 2013 @ 12:20 am Reply

Hey there Abhi, what an awesome list of bloggers, the majority I know, only a few I don’t but i will be visiting their blogs to get to know them and their blogs throughout 2013.

      Hey Karen,

      Good to see you here.

That was the reason of sharing these awesome people on my blog, that my readers, friends can also know and meet them if they haven’t.

      Happy New Year!

I’m catching up on the bloggers I know 😉 Your post certainly worked, it’s great when we get to meet some more amazing bloggers 😉

  • Cudjoe, January 15, 2013 @ 7:43 pm Reply

It’s really amazing that most of the bloggers on your list are alien to me. I’ve never heard about them and I guess I ought to the time to visit their sites.

    • Abhi, January 17, 2013 @ 10:15 am Reply

Really? In which blogosphere you are blogging? Just around your blog?

If you don’t know the bloggers I mentioned above then I think you just have started blogging. You have a llloooonnnnnnggggg way to go, buddy.

And I don’t think “Alien” is the appropriate word to use here.

      Thanks, anyway!

Hey Abhi – great list. I’m familiar with a few of the names here . . . Brian, Ileane . . . but I didn’t recognize a couple, so I’ll be off to hit their blogs and do some learning.

I’m always up for finding cool new bloggers to follow. 🙂

And it’s probably silly, but I hope I can make your list this year! 😀
